Its fruit weigh 25-60 lb. and have an attractive dark orange color, well defined ribs, and a consistent blocky/round shape. Its exceptional handle is long, dark-colored, well rooted, and has high dry matter, which leads to less stem shrinkage after harvest.

Highly recommend

"100% germination. Grew well with little water. Took a while to flower but vines stretched 20 feet or more. A few very large pumpkins with the rest a good carvable size. With the overall conditions I'd say they're a success!"

Q&A

why are the pumpkins seeds so expensive this year?
Hello! Thank you for reaching out. We have raised our prices slightly (less than 10%) from last season. As you may know, inputs across the board have risen and as such, the breeders of our seed have to charge more for the crops that now cost them more to raise. We try to be as fair and competitive as possible in our pricing but had to increase our pricing some to compensate for these market changes. We hope you understand and we appreciate your business very much!
Is this a resistant variety against slugs. Is there any variety that is?
Hi Martha, Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately there isn't a variety of pumpkins that is resistant to slugs. There are however, many methods for dealing with slugs. These methods range from spraying with pesticides, interplanting strong smelling herbs, planting a variety as a "catch crop" and using homemade traps. A search online can provide you with a number of options that you can choose from to best suit your growing style and scale.
