French fingerling has tall spreading plants that produce tubers with dark rose skin and yellow flesh, flecked with red. This potato variety is known for its gourmet quality flavor and is best boiled or roasted. Tubers are larger and more oval than traditional fingerlings and are resistant to common scab. Approximately 10 seed potatoes per pound.
Well-drained, loose, deep and slightly acidic soil will grow the best fingerling potato seedlings.

1 and 3 pound sizes ship early April to mid-May from the Harris Seeds warehouse. 20 and 40 pound sizes drop-ship from our supplier, Dutch Valley Growers, early March to mid-May, based on the optimal planting time for your region. An Early Ship Waiver must be signed if you request an earlier ship date (available on drop-ship items only). Please contact us to inquire.
