The tan colored fruit average 3-1/2 lbs. and are produce on a space-saving, semi-bush plant, and get high marks for their uniform size and shape. Butterfly has a traditional butternut shape, above average neck thickness for its size, and its flesh is fine grained with a good orange color. This is an excellent butternut squash for roadside markets, farmers' markets or boxing.
