Emerald Crown is a medium-maturing broccoli that produces uniform heads that make good weight. Small framed plants produce blue green heads with a small bead size and a domed shape. The heads are firm and highly resistant to purpling during cool growing periods. Emerald Crown produces high quality crown cuts and is best used for late summer plantings and fall harvest.

The Best Broccoli

"We grow out about 200 heads in the Spring and Fall for our local food pantries. The only variety that we have tested for zone 8A/9 that holds up to heat. Produces an abundant quantity of side shoots after the head is harvested."

Victor S. (5/5)

All seeds

"As a norm I don’t do reviews but I’ll make a exception. It takes as much time & space & care to grow an inferior seed as it does to grow a superior seed & Harris has superior seed I’ll be purchasing seed from Harris until I am no longer able to garden!!"

LEON P. (5/5)

Good germination and nice size

"Good germination and nice size heads."

Harry H. (5/5)

"Grew very well."

Capo F. (5/5)

Beginner

"I am 13 years old and brand new to this and learning the best I can. But all the seeds I purchased from you grew. Next year I will probably only go with 1 seed per pod."
