Slow to germinate
"Seeds lacked vigor. I start all my seeds in a controlled temp/light/humidity chamber and grow on in the greenhouse. Seed germination was 85% with a additional 4 day longer germination time required. That being said as with all seeds minor shifts in growing conditions can effect outcomes. I have always had good performance from the seeds I receive from Harris seeds and will continue to purchase from them."
Tomatoes galore
"We grew this variety for the 2nd year. I reviewed it last year as well. This year the leaves stayed healthy and green until Oct.10 when we harvested. We grew only one of these plants but it produced 150 tomatoes!!! I wish I could attach a pic to this review. The tomatoes were so thick on the vine that we had trouble picking them. They got wedged in tightly against each other and cage. The tomatoes were blemish free and beautiful. If you want to can tomatoes or make sauces this heavy producer is right for you."
Amazing producer
"We tried Plum Regal for the first time because it was supposed to be blight resistant, a big problem in MN gardens. It proved not to be resistant to blight, lost all its leaves, but still produced 70 tomatoes on one plant! They were 4-6oz.apiece. The blight affected the leaves but not the tomatoes. We would definitely grow these again!"
