Compared to other mid-season bicolors, Rosie has superior eating quality and excellent field holding ability. Strong, clean 6' plants set their beautifully refined ears at 24". The attractive 7.75-8.25" ears have a superb eating quality, 16-18 rows, nice ear shape and a very clean and bright white and yellow kernel color. The husk package is dark green and covers the ear tightly and well over the tip. Isolation required.

"I found this variety after I could no longer get Mr. Mini seed. Germination is excellent. Plants grow tall & strong with ears relatively high off the ground. Ears are large, filled to the tip with excellent flavor. I grow enough to give to family & friends. Everyone raves that it's the best sweet corn they've ever had. I freeze a lot of corn & this works great for that as well. You can't go wrong with this variety."

"Our corn 🌽 germinated and thrived in our backyard garden. It was just becoming ripe, and I picked the 11 ready ears, thinking that in a few days I would be picking nearly 100 more. We ate corn that night… the most sweet and tender of our 81 year lifetime!! Alas, much to our total dismay, the….. racoons had raided in the night and eaten EVERY SINGLE CORN COB! Not one remained!!! Darn racoons loved that corn as much as we did! 🌽😕😡😢"

- Two questions. Please define “ raw” corn seeds. Is Rosie corn seed available insect repellent treated?
- Hi Sharon, Thank you for reaching out. Raw indicates that this particular seed has had no treatment whatsoever and is available in it's rawest form. The variety Rosie does not come with a treatment that protects against insects. If you are trying to combat against issues such as ear worm, look into any of our BioTech treated varieties.
