When you need 3 hands…
"This is handy when you don’t want to carry a bucket with you. Especially handy if you have had surgery and not supposed to bend over for a couple of weeks—the “pouch” takes the place of a bucket and the release lets you dump it out. Part of the structure in front has sort of breathable fabric (where the black is) that will make more comfortable on hot humid days"
Good, but not as perfect as I thought
"I like the Roo, don't get me wrong, but it came so highly recommended that I expected something perfect :) What I was disappointed in was that the white side cords would slip all the way to the knot, thereby keeling the pouch open all the time. I had to double-sling them around the black plastic holders to make the pouch stay closed which, of course, defeats the purpose of quick release of your harvest. In addition, be sure that you keep the pouch fabrics folded just right in order to be sure your harvested veggies don't slip out the bottom while you're still harvesting. The cotton bands that you clip behind your back got all twisted up pretty much right from the start and that complicates their adjustment. And, disappointingly, the beautiful vibrant purple color was washed out after the first wash. Overall I am giving the Roo 3 stars, because of the solid construction, the good weight distribution it provides and the very handy pockets for gloves, clippers and cell phone, because I like to take photos of my plants."
