Excellent Growing Media for Strawberries
"I have been using these open top bags to grow many types of strawberries. My primary crops are Fragaria vesca cultivars grown for seed production but I also grow day neutral hybrids for fruit production. The water holding capacity is astonishing. Temperatures often exceed 110F and one irrigation per day is usually sufficient. I appreciate the acidic pH. The structure holds up well for multiple seasons. I get virtually no winter kill when the bags are set on the ground with Agribon AG-19. I have not had any negative experiences with this product."
