A clean plant with easy pick that produces slender bicolor ears with good flavor and tender pericarp, Alto was the first variety in the TripleSweet® product line in the first early maturity slot. Ideal for roadside stand growers in the northern U.S. Alto features excellent tip fill and good husk cover, excellent stand uniformity in early cold soil, and 72 day maturity. Ears measure 7.5" long with 14-16 kernel rows and medium green husks.
