White Ebenezer is always crisp and delicious and by far the most popular onion you can grow! It produces a medium-sized, 2 to 3" diameter bulb with a flat shape and a nice strong onion flavor. It is gold colored on the outside, with papery skin, and pale yellow flesh. Its mild flavor is great for cooking, and it also stores well. Long-day, open pollinated type. Harvest: August-September. Approximately 110-130 sets per pound. Hardiness zone 3-9.

Onions sets will drop-ship from our supplier, Dutch Valley Growers, between early March and mid-May based on the optimal planting time for your region. An Early Ship Waiver must be signed if you request an earlier ship date (available on drop-ship items only). Please contact us to inquire.


Shipping

Enjoy free standard shipping on orders over $300. For orders under $300, shipping and handling are calculated based on your pre-tax order total. Freight surcharges may apply for oversized, heavy, or special-handling items.

Most orders are currently shipping within 5–7 business days via USPS or UPS (excluding backorders), though shipping times may vary during our peak season from January - May.

We also recommend selecting a future ship date that aligns with your planting schedule. Please note that we do not ship on weekends or company-recognized holidays

To help reduce the number of partial shipments, after the first shipment, we may hold an order until the majority of remaining items are available to ship together.
