This early bloomer, aptly named Gold Rush, grows and flowers quickly, producing numerous branches of perfectly formed golden-orange flowers with a rich dark disk. The Gold Rush sunflower seed is perfect for growers who operate CSA's or sell at Farmers Markets because the heavily branched plants continue to produce blooms that will have you cutting all summer long! When you plant the seed, you'll grow traditional-looking sunflowers that are perfect for making bouquets.

The Gold Rush sunflower seed is clean and untreated. We use no alternative chemical, physical or biological methods during production. Growers can watch the sunflowers come to life and bloom vibrant golden-orange, making the sunflower variety become a must-have every season.

At Harris Seeds, we are committed to helping new and experienced growers succeed during every growing season. Receive high-quality seeds that have undergone trials for excellent germination rates. Purchase your Gold Rush sunflower seeds from Harris Seeds today!

"Pretty flowers, strong stems"

"great germination rate!!"

CINDY G. (5/5)

Not too pretty but good for wildlife

"I bought and planted a package of 250 Gold Rush F1 seeds. I mixed the seeds in with buckwheat and brassicas for a food plot. Germination was great and birds like them. I got lots of plants. As of Sept 1, 10-20% had multiple heads, the rest were single. Height around 3-5 feet. I don't think they look as pretty as some others that I have planted from Harris, as many of these flowers have "droopy" petals. Young flowers are pretty, but older ones not so much. I'd plant them again for wildlife, but not for decoration."

ALLEN R. (4/5)

Beautiful! I'm not sneezing

"At about 3.5' these are not as tall as the 5' Helios Flame and Infrared varieties, but very beautiful and they don't make me sneeze. Recommended, especially for anyone with allergies! These are the perfect sunflowers for bouquets."

MILES E. (5/5)

Dogs trampled sprouts. :(. New

"Dogs trampled sprouts. :(. New bed. I will choose better spot this year."

Jeff W. (3/5)

Gold Rush

"Nice looking plants but germination rates only about 50 percent."

Steven P. (4/5)

Pretty flower but mini version

"These sunflowers came in earlier than described and were minis. The tallest was maybe a foot and a half. They would be great cut flowers for bouquets."
