Giant is a beautiful Rocambole type garlic that is excellent for cooking. These
large, reddish bulbs contain 6-10 easy to peel cloves that have a high heat
flavor that quickly mellows. Rocambole type garlic scapes typically loop twice
and are known for their rich flavor. Scapes can be harvested and used for
cooking before the garlic itself is actually harvested. Hardiness zones 3-8.

"Some of the best hardneck garlic I have grown. I'd been trying different types of garlic because some say they are large, and still I would get smaller bulbs. I put these in a place where they get full sun and they grew amazing. This is the only garlic I am planting this year. The flavor of the garlic is very good, not so strong you can't use it, not hot, but a nice garlic flavor."
