The first purple wax bean on the market, Celine has a bright magenta color, pale yellow interior, and sweet refined pods. The slender 2-3 sieve pods develop early and in high numbers. Pick these petite filet beans at 4 1⁄2-5" long for best quality. High resistance to BCMV.

Q&A
- These taste different from the beans I have grown in the past...If these are a first "wax" bean what are the ones I bought last year.? The beans are very productive (even in this hot dry year) and the ground hog loved their leaves....but they bounced back after I fortified the fence. I just truly dont like the taste...I didnt like yellow beans when I was a kid, I love green beans (french beans if available) but I will be more careful in my ordering in the future.

- Good morning Ruth and thank you for contacting us. The Bean Celine Organic is a bush bean variety. This is one of the first purple wax beans on the market. The bean is a bright purple color with a pale yellow interior. This was one of our favorite during trials this past season and has a mild, sweet flavor.
