Jenny's Pearl brings a very different look to containers, landscapes and cut flower bouquets compared to other Delphinium. The mounds of lacy leaves are covered in airy sprays of delicate blooms from early summer to fall. Finishes 12-15 wks. Breathtaking flower spikes, overlapping with gorgeous delicate florets, perform beautifully in gardens and large containers. The large spikes give height to arrangements and draw attention in the garden. Individual florets are great for detailed cut flower jobs like boutonnières, corsages and hair flowers.
Approximately 391,965 seeds per pound
Weeks to finish: 19 - 23 weeks

Hard to grow
Review by BRICK A. on 15 Apr 2021review stating Hard to grow
I am a professional grower that grows hundreds of seed varieties each year. I was excited to try this new delphinium, but have been disappointed in the results. The seeds germinated well, but after a week or so they started dying. Every morning a few more would be damped off. We use sanitized plug trays, sterile growing medium, and pH balanced water. Seedlings are kept at 75F with high light and complete darkness at night. We haven't had a single case of damp off with any other varieties. The Jenny's Pearl Blue seedlings just seem to be wimpy and frail. They are doing a little better now that they have moved to the greenhouse, but I am left with 1/3 the amount I started with. In the future, I will just grow Blue Butterfly delpiniums. They are sturdy and grow fast.
