Resistant to common wilt, Powdery Mildew, pea enation virus. An early edible-podded flat snow pea with a 24 to 28" vine that produces continuous yields of large, broad pods. Oregon Sugar Pod #2 is delicious steamed or used fresh. Easy to grow without trellising. Released by Oregon State University.

"I won't be planting these peas for another couple of months. I bought early because last year a lot of varieties were sold out when I went to order at my usual time in February. This year appears to be at least marginally better, although I see that the onion sets are selling out again early this year as well. The mix of 3 types that I usually buy is already unavailable."
