Reliable

"I am happy to report that these seeds sprout with great reliability and never disappoint. There is only one way to get the best broccoli sprouts and that is to buy Harris Seeds seeds. They sprout consistently, taste wonderful, last as long as I need them to. I eat them everyday, unless I run out. I don't buy sprouts anywhere, I grow them at home only and enjoy eating them and knowing the type of healthy food I am putting into my body. I am so glad I found Harris Seeds broccoli sprouts."

Q&A

The last time I grew broccoli sprouts they got moldy and smelled rotten. I rinsed and drained twice a day. What else should I do to grow good sprouts?
Hi Cheryll, Thank you for contacting us about your sprouts. To help minimize the chance of moldy sprouts, start with a clean jar and a clean lid. After the initial soak, it is important that you rinse your seeds twice a day (as you are already doing). In addition, you might want to try propping your mason jar up- upside down- in a bowl after rinsing your seeds twice to help drain the excess water out of your jar. This is very easy to do if you use a sprouting lid for your mason jars. Below is a link to a helpful article that provides some great information on sprouting seeds. Can I grow your sprouts in soil under my grow light? Thanks.
Hi Kim, Yes, you may grow sprouts in soil. They do not need more light than ambient light.
