Table Ace Acorn

"Fantastic, fast growing Acorn variety that stays mostly in a bush type plant making it easy to clean between rows."

Excellent Performer in USDA Zone 6

"Wow! We've been growing this squash for the last 3 summers. The first summer we only planted 6 seeds, all of which sprouted and became producing plants. We averaged 7 large mature fruit per plant that summer. (We planted in late May/early June) Even this last summer, 2021, the planting was late, but the yield was surprisingly good. Planted 24 seeds, all of which became producing plants (100% germination) and we averaged 2.2 fruits per plant. Planted late, around July 7th, and had some early frost in late September that was not forecast. The largest fruit this last summer was 7" long and 17.5" circumference at the widest part. The flavor of this squash is excellent! It's sweet and has a good texture, not very fibrous. It stores moderately well over the winter. We've had better storing squash in blue hubbard and Pink Banana but the flavor of the Table Ace will cause you to want to eat is quickly."
