Sakura produces outstanding, early yields of deliciously sweet, bright red, uniform cherry tomatoes. The skin of these 1-1.25" diameter fruit is tender to eat, but its exceptional crack resistance allows for confident packing into pints. Tasters rated Sakura #1 for its outstanding sweetness and smooth interior texture. The widely adapted plant offers a manageable vine suited for field, tunnel, or greenhouse culture. Sakura carries resistance to ToMV, F (1), and Leaf Mold (1-5), plus intermediate resistance to root knot nematode.
