This wildflower seed mixture was developed for the southeastern United States. It contains approximately 22 different species of annuals and perennials that flower from spring through fall. These species have been selected for the following areas: AL, AR, northern FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, eastern OK, TN, eastern TX, SC.
Maximum planting rates are based on 120-140 seeds per square foot (8 to 24 pounds per acre and are recommended when adequate soil preparation and weed control are not possible, or when maximum color is required.

"Southeast Wildflower seeds germinated easily. They are lovely. After clearing an area, wildflowers were planted instead of grass. It seems there were more yellows than other colors. Zinnias were also planted in another area....they are dramatic! I will plant wildflowers and zinnias again next year."
