COVID-19

December 28, 2020

As COVID cases rise across the country, we have taken extra precautions to remain open and continue to process orders, while keeping employees and customers safe. Here are just a few of the new processes our team has implemented:

  • All orders processed through our facility are run under a germicidal lighting treatment before they are shipped.
  • We have a new, contact-free locker system in our building for local pickups. Instead of interacting with a member of our team, customers who pick up their orders directly from our warehouse will have their order stored in a secure and sanitized locker until the order is picked up.
  • Our building is sanitized three times a week, and disinfecting lights are run every night.

We wish you all good health and wellness as our nation continues fighting the virus.

Please note that due to the pandemic, many shipping carriers may be experiencing delays.

Beginning June 1, 2020, our facility will once again be open to local customers for order pickups. We will offer no-contact pickup options to maintain the safety of our employees and customers. If you'd like to place an order for pickup, please call our offices at 800.544.7938.

On behalf of everyone at Harris Seeds and GardenTrends, I want to thank you for your continued support and patience. Last month, our team unanimously agreed that we would best serve the growing community by remaining open and supporting all growers, and I’m proud to share some of the work my team has put into fulfilling that pledge.

Since March 12, our seed packaging department has filled over 330,000 seed packages and processed more than 44,000 orders from our warehouse. Our packaging and fulfillment centers have been working day and night to package and ship as much seed as possible.

We’re also happy to report that we have 0 reported incidents of COVID-19 or mandatory isolation orders within the Harris Seeds and GardenTrends teams. Our staff has been strictly adhering to social distancing and health policies and will continue to do so until our state leaders, national leaders, and health experts inform us otherwise.

We thank you for growing, for providing sustainable stability to your communities and your family, and for choosing Harris Seeds and GardenTrends.
