Kozy Coat Plant Protectors are self-standing plant protectors that can be filled with water to provide additional heat for plants. They are made of UV-resistant plastic and fit around the plant. They can be used to protect plants from spring winds, rains, and unseasonable frost.
The red-tinted plastic of Kozy Coats produces stockier plants by providing that portion of the light wavelength spectrum that plants respond to. The unique open-lipped design allows easier-than-ever filling of the chambers by moving the hose end along the top, instead of opening each individual chamber.

"The only problem is that you need to put some plant stakes inside to stop it from falling over and hurting your plants. I do not know why, maybe wind, but once a week 1 or 2 of them would collapse and fall on the plant. The stakes fixed that problem."
Well made, easier to fill than other brands
"Yes, the open lip tops make them easier to fill. I don't know if red is scientifically better than other colors for the plants, but they look fun and springing! Also easy to pick up when full to move around. Now if my back could agree after leaning over...."
