Red Curl. This deep purple dual-purpose kale is an excellent edible variety and a beautiful ornamental for landscape plantings, earning it a double Gold Medal award in the 2026 AAS trials. Rubybor has a compact, tidy plant that out-yields other red kales, with frilled leaves that are tender and non-bitter. Plants perform late into the season, tolerating both frost and Southern heat.
