Early boiling onions are easily grown from direct seeding and huge, mature bulbs grow from transplants. Stores short term.

Daylength: Long Day (requires 14-16 hours of daylength to begin to bulb)

Plants: 50-60 transplants/count

Great zone 6 onion

"I’m a small gardener, I love how these onion are progressing. Getting real big! My only issue is the quantity in the bundle. Way too many for my garden. About half went to waste. A smaller bunch would be preferable and waste would not be an issue. Price is also a factor, pretty expensive. Next year I’m trying to grow from seed to save money. Harris is my go to seed company. They’re local, they stand behind their products, and the seed I’ve purchased from them has always germinated, whereas some other seed companies didn’t."
