Parthenocarpic. Manny is a Beit Alpha type that was developed for greenhouse production. This type of cucumber is widely used in Europe and is well known for its high quality, crisp-textured, tasty fruit. The shiny, medium green, smooth fruit measure 5-7" L x 1-1/2" W. Parthenocarpic (self-pollinating). Best yields occur when trellised, but Manny performs well in open field production too. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew.

- Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, Cucumber Manny F1 does not come in a quantity of 150 seeds. The minimum quantity we offer is 500 seeds.
- Is this product (Manny Cucumbers) available in a smaller size pack for home gardens? I don't need 500 seeds. Thanks.

- Hello. Unfortunately, the untreated cucumber seeds that I bought from you at the beginning of this year 2021, their baby cucumbers turn yellow and die, and the percentage of these fruits has reached 60% of the total production. Please explain the reasons for this.
- Hi George, Because this type of cucumber doesn't require pollination to set fruit (it will make seedless, sterile fruit) we would encourage you to have a soil test done to make sure the plants are receiving adequate nutrients and also make sure they are receiving enough water. Cucumbers are very shallow rooted plants and require consistent water to bear the fruit loads. There are a number of articles that show that pruning parthenocarpic cucumbers also helps. This limits the amount of fruiting branches that the plant needs to maintain and allows it to focus its production on a limited number of flowers and growth nodes. We hope these tips help!
