These abundant producers grow up to 3 1/2-inch long pods and typically feature eight to 10 small, tender peas. As the pods mature, they become thinner, slender, pointed and curved, making it easier to remove the berries from the pods for eating and cooking.

If you've been searching for a pea variety that doesn't require trellising, try planting Lincoln Pea seeds. You'll enjoy small, tender peas, produced on 28-30 inch vines. Enjoy the largest harvest possible from every Lincoln Pea seed. They are also resistant to Common Wilt disease. When you want plenty of peas to sell, eat or freeze, Lincoln Peas are an excellent option.

"We had some issues with a ground hog who chewed the plants early on. After using fencing, we managed to get the plants to flower and produce an adequate and delicious crop. Next year, We will get to the fencing earlier to enjoy the abundant crop we crave."

I can't remember how many

"I can't remember how many years I have bought your Lincoln pea seeds, and many other seeds as well. Unhappily because of neuropathy I have had to give up my vegetable garden. But this year I bought a raised bed on legs from Vermont Country Store and a friend put it together for me so I was able to have Lincoln peas again. It was wonderful. I tell everyone you haven't had a pea until you have had a Harris Lincoln pea!"

Q&A

I ordered a package of Pea Lincoln and to my disappointment, the package says in capital letters, DO NOT USE SEED FOR FOOD, FEED OR OIL. My question is, if these are not etible why are you selling them as if they are? I am guessing I have to reorder to get some we can eat.
Hi Bonnie, We apologize for any confusion. Our seeds are safe and suitable for planting. The seeds themselves are not meant to be eaten, but the vegetables grown from the seeds are most certainly edible.
