Millionaire has been the standard by which all other seedless watermelons have been judged for years, boasting high yields and great quality. The blocky-shaped, 18-22 lb. fruit have dark green stripes on a thick green rind; the flesh is dark pink, solid and firm, and is seldom plagued by hollow hearts. Tolerant to Anthracnose and moderately tolerant to Fusarium Wilt.
You will need to purchase a pollinator for use with the seedless varieties. We highly recommend that you use Side Kick or Accomplice for this purpose, as they flower early and continuously throughout the pollination period. You will need one pollinator for every three seedless you transplant.

- When would Millionaire seedless watermelons need to be started for a May 10 transplant date? We would be using a greenhouse once germinated.
- Hi Dee, Thank you for contacting us. Generally watermelon starts need about 3 weeks from time of germination to transplant date outside. You'll want to allow a few days for germination and for some variation in grow time. Given your anticipated transplant date of May 10th, we'd encourage you to sow your seeds around April 15th or so.
