Harris Seeds has your answer if you're wondering where to find Ghost Pepper seeds for sale. Ghost Pepper, also known as Bhut Jolokia, is a legendary pepper, known as one of the world's hottest peppers, with readings sometimes in excess of 1,000,000 Scoville units! Ghost Pepper grows slowly at first but eventually makes a vigorous tall plant that can reach 4' in some locations. The thin-walled, wrinkled, pointed fruit are 3 to 3-1/2" in length. This strain may result in a range of fruit colors, including red, peach, and yellow. Note: This pepper is extremely hot! Handle seed and fruit carefully!

The versatile Ghost Pepper can be the main ingredient in hot sauce, salsa, chutney, and jam. This pepper's claim to fame is the intense burning sensation it causes in your mouth, which can last up to 30 minutes. Luckily, while this pepper is hot, the heat will wear off and not leave any lasting damage. When handling Ghost Peppers, exercise caution and wear hand, eye and breathing protection.

Growing Tips

Before buying Ghost Chili Pepper seeds, make sure you have the right growing environment. Ghost Peppers must have a soil temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit and a constant moisture level. Once there are six leaves on each seedling, transplant the pepper plants into the ground to finish growing.

Disapointed

"I grow Ghost Pepper for sale and I would like Harris Seeds to know that I got pretty much the same result as Alexander Strack, but in my case it was about 50%. I would also like to say that I have ordered Ghost Pepper seeds from many other suppliers and in comparison the Harris Ghost Pepper seed was far better than 90% of the other suppliers and their germination was excellent, also most of the non-ghost peppers were still nice peppers so I would buy from Harris again but I hope they can get it to 100%."

I expected better

"I grow hot peppers and make pepper sauce for a living, when I found ghost chili seeds at a decent price from a reputable company, I thought I'd never have to search again. In 2017, I germinated the seeds purchased from Harris, they had an excellent germination rate, 100% survival rate but, alas, Only 35% were truly bhut jolokia. The rest of the plants produced 4 or 5 other varieties of capsicum Chinese. I will give Harris one more opportunity to get it right before finding another supplier."
