If Downy Mildew is an issue in your area, bring garden Impatiens back into production and rest easy! The Beacon series has been bred, tested, and confirmed for high resistance to currently known populations of Plasmopara obducens, which cause Impatiens Downy Mildew. Plant structure and flower size is similar to Super Elfin, all with great garden performance and season-long color. Sell in standard and premium packs, 4-6" pots, baskets, and mixed containers.

Great product

"I had great germination and seedling survival was excellent. I used grow lights and heat mats for germination as well as after they were transplanted into a 72 cell tray."

TWYLA S. (5/5)

"Very beautiful, excellent germination."

Plant man

"Exceptional to say the least High germination rate and a vigorous grower. Best of all…..no Downey mildew unlike other impatience varieties. They need high humidity and warm temperature to germinate. It helps to cover and add a little bit of vermiculite to the soil surface. Best impatience variety out there."

Beacon Impatiens

"I planted the Beacon impatiens for the first time this year. It took them over 3 weeks to germinate and not all of them did, but the ones that did, are absolutely beautiful. They are tall with clusters of large white flowers. The best part is, i have had no sign of downy mildew."

Scott G

"I planted these for the first time last winter. Started indoors in February as a new winter project (grow lamp). Put 1-3 seeds per plug and i think every single one germinated. Eventually transferred to small pots then to various areas in the garden. I was blown away at the color and size of the plants. They had to be 2' tall and really expansive. They were the absolute rock star of every garden/planting. Grew in partial shade and almost full sun and they amazed!! Can't wait for this year's crop. If you want an easy to maintain, long lasting plant (the store bought impatiens don't last well and don't bulk up) these are the ones!! Never grown these from seeds but I'm hooked now. I'm sure i sound like a Harris plant but I'm just a a wicked happy grower!"
