Protect your plants from overheating!
This easy to install greenhouse vent can be placed in the roof or end wall to provide supplemental ventilation for extremely hot conditions. During moderate weather, high tunnels are generally vented by rolling up the sides and opening the doors on each end. However, extremely hot and humid weather often requires additional ventilation, and the best vent position is at the roof or peak of the structure.

The High Tunnel Vent is constructed of a rigid aluminum frame and shutters. Each vent comes with two types of vent openers: manual and auto-temperature. The manual opener is operated with a hand pull wire, while the auto-temperature opener operates automatically and can be adjusted to open at temperatures between 60-77° F. Vent acts as a great insurance policy in case you are unable to open your main vents or other venting fails.

Vent opening measures 12 1/2" x 12 1/2", total vent measures 15" x 15" x 3". Vent installs in minutes with wiggle wire and channel locking (both included).

Q&A

I am just wanting the opener for my 12” vent. The opener is bent for some reason n gets stuck, worked great for 5 years. Will I be able to purchase separately? I cannot find anywhere. Please help. Thanks
Hello! Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that your opener was damaged. Unfortunately, at this time, the manufacturer does not offer the opener separate from the vent. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Hello, how is the automatic system powered ? (solar, plug, ... ?) thanks
Hello! Thank you for reaching out. When using the automatic settings rather than the manual handpulls, you will need the vents hooked up to some sort of electricity. Whether you choose to attach them to solar panels or plug into the grid, is up to the user. We hope this helps.
Is this vent easily installed into a basic 2x4 wood frame?
Hi Laura, You would need to drill out the rivets on the channel lock and then you can bolt/screw it into the wooden frame. Thanks for the question!
Does the wiggle wire and channel lock come with it?
Hi Karen, Yes, the wiggle wire and channel lock are included!
Can your High Tunnel/Greenhouse 12" Vent w/Auto Opener be installed in plexiglass greenhouse siding
Hi James, The rivets on the channel lock would have to be drilled out and the channel lock removed. Then you would be able to bolt the opener into a framed opening or directly to the plexiglass.
