Certified Naturally Grown using sustainable methods. Premium sized 2" bulbs. German White is a porcelain hardneck garlic that yields a large 2" plus sized bulb containing up to 6 big, easy-to-peel cloves. A beautiful garlic with creamy-white outer bulb wrappers, and often purple striped inner wrappers, that tend to be thick, parchment-like, and tightly cover the cloves. It is richly flavored with a distinctive, moderately spicy taste. Plump cloves make it a great roasting variety. Scapes can be harvested and used for cooking before the garlic itself is actually harvested. Stores well into the cold winter months. Approximately 5-6 bulbs per lb.; expect 30-36 cloves per lb. on average. Performs well in any climate. Hardiness zones 3-8.
