Fairy Queen adds a unique quality to a farinacea type salvia with its unusual bicolor appearance. Densely packed flower spikes produce sapphire blue florets, each sprinkled with a small white spot. The well-branched plant habit produces multiple flower spikes that contrast nicely with its dark green foliage, creating a lovely effect in both gardens and containers. The plant's attractive coloring makes for excellent cut flowers and great bouquet fillers when fresh or dry.

Salvia seed produces a stunning and resilient plant with the ability to tolerate heat, humidity and drought. Growing salvia from seed is relatively easy. You can start sowing indoors eight to 10 weeks before the last frost passes. Our salvia seedlings germinate within 10 to 14 days at impressive rates when kept in warm conditions.

The plant requires full sun to bloom and perform well. You want to give the plants moderate amounts of water, especially during dry weather, but take care to avoid damping.
