Berkeley is among the most popular of home garden blueberry varieties. Berries are light blue, very large, and store well. The fruit is great eaten fresh, with good flavor, firmness and appearance. The Berkeley blueberry bush is moderately tall and spreading, and suitable for machine harvesting. Northern Highbush, 6-8', upright, spreading habit. Very large, mild tasting fruit. Fruits mid-season. Hardiness zones 4 to 7.
